The Newsy

I came across this picture at American Digest in a post about Ansel Adam's Lost Los Angeles. The period details - the fedora, the workshirt for a vanished company (and why is it hanging on the outside of the newstand?), the pulp magazines on prominent display - all fascinate me. I wish I could visit this newstand.
